This article presents the factors influencing the adoption of the social enterprise concept in the Czech Republic. The study focuses on the training needs of social workers working with people in housing need. A mixed methodology is used, the qualitative part was carried out through semi-structured interviews with social workers, the quantitative part was an online questionnaire of its own design (part of a wider study), data was collected from 227 respondents. The aim is to describe social workers’ perceptions of appropriate further training aimed at supporting social work practice in ending housing need, their current situation and training needs of which they are unaware.
