PROMOTING THE DIGITAL INCLUSION OF OLDER PEOPLE

The expanding digitization of all areas of everyday life, including the areas of services, leisure and access to them, are linked or are beginning to be based on the assumption of the user's natural use of digital technologies. Insufficient access for older people to the digital world can lead to their isolation due to the fact that more services, information and activities are transformed into a digital format. The article deals with the issue   of digital inclusion of older people, who face a number of limitations in connection with the use of digital technologies and thus have the highest risk of digital exclusion. At the same time, it presents examples of good practice, initiatives that can be used as possible inspirational approaches to support the digital inclusion of older people.
