Forensic entomology is a helping field in forensic science. It describes the method of decomposition of a dead body from the point of view of forensic entomology, providing entomological traces from the site of the discovery and explains how forensic entomology helps in detecting criminals. The aim of the contribution, taking into account the above, will also be an assessment of the current state of de lege lata and a subsequent outline of the possible development of the scientific and legal regulation of de lege ferenda.

We consider the COVID-19 pandemic to be the greatest challenge that individual countries have faced in recent times. Within the multi-level governance, the decision-making process is not only tied to the central state power, but also to the authorities of territorial self-government. Therefore, the actors of regional self-government have the power to make decisions in their own areas of competences.
