COMPARISON OF THE CRIME PREVENTION SYSTEM IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

The presented article focuses on the introduction of the crime prevention system in the Czech Republic. In the introductory part of the contribution, the basic terminology of the researched area is defined with the legal and social concept of crime and the presentation of the basic concepts of crime prevention. Crime prevention in the Czech Republic includes a wide complex of different entities that create a multi-level system. The article analyzes individual levels of crime prevention and presents a list of participating entities. In the final part, a comparison is made with the crime prevention system in the Slovak Republic.

The article deals with employees of digital work platforms working in the field of care for seniors and young children. The text focuses on the characteristic patterns of behaviour and the motivation of workers to assess the flexibility inherent in platform work. It also mentions compensatory mechanisms associated with the uncertainty that this way of working brings.

The potential of smart city concepts is sufficient to warrant attention not only universally, but also solitarily to the individual pillars of the concepts.
